Woods Edge Farm is situated on 400 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass, in proximity to some of the Thoroughbred industry’s most important landmarks, such as historic Keeneland Racetrack and top Thoroughbred stallion facilities. The barns on the farm, with 86 stalls, have been designed with all stages of a horse’s development in mind, for the safety, health and growth of sound Thoroughbreds. Woods Edge Farm’s barns and paddocks were created to accommodate broodmares, lay-ups, yearlings and foals. We also provide quarantine facilities upon request. The beautiful, lush trees of Woods Edge provide the horses with shade and protection from the elements, and create an environment of pastoral calm that man and horse can enjoy. Additionally, the pastures are excellently maintained and provide the lush grazing that Kentucky is known for, to grow the world’s best Thoroughbreds. Woods Edge is known for its devotion to the welfare of the horses which reside there: the horses are our first concern. Our goal is to breed and raise horses that will perform well both in the sales ring and on the racetrack.
